18th March 2021 - Satiator Rings Config v3.1 Released

After going through a large collection as a user for the first time, I found a couple of features that would improve the experience.

Config Tool Version 3.1

Added:
  • Rename directory
  • Delete directory
Fixed:
  • Google search string updated to produce better results.


Download and update from the redistributable pack which includes menu version 3.1 below. You can also update using the application.

18th March 2021 - Satiator Rings Config v3.0 Released

New configuration tool available which includes a google images downloader. The code was shamefully ripped from hakchi so most of the thanks has to go them for this option.

A new pack is available for new comers to Satiator Rings to make the installation faster, feel free to update using an older version if you already use the tool.

Config Tool Version 3.0

Added:
  • Google images downloader. (Thanks hakchi!)
  • Default image for folders without an image applied to mirror the actual menu.
Fixed:
  • Minor fixes.


Update from a previous version or download the redistributable pack which includes menu version 3.1 below.

17th March 2021 - Satiator Rings v3.1 Released

New menu available with a few bug fixes and some new sound effects.

Menu Version 3.1

Added:
  • New sound effects.
Fixed:
  • Pressing B to quit options now reloads options, the same as pressing cancel.
  • Boxart disappearing when holding up or down.
  • Changing theme now reloads the screen so the new graphics load.

Config Tool 2.1

Fixed:
  • Adding boxarts to SD was broken.
  • Exit menu option was not working.
  • Error when satiator rings is not installed on the SD card selected.


Download the zip file below and extract the contents to the root of your SD card or install using the config tool.

Make sure you update your config tool before downloading the latest version of the menu.

17th March 2021 - Satiator Rings Config v2.0 Released

New configuration tool available which will download v3.0 of Satiator rings and includes a theme editor.

Config Tool Version 2.0

Added:
  • Theme editor.
  • SD pack is now downloaded as part of the menu update which includes the 2 supplied themes.

17th March 2021 - Satiator Rings v3.0 Released

New menu available with very basic theme support, see the instructions page for more information on themes. Everything after the splash screen is now loaded from SD card.

The config tool will require an update as it only downloads the ISO so make sure you install the pack below. Otherwise you can continue to use it for now, there will be another update for that soon.

Menu Version 3.0

Added:
  • Very basic lightweight theme support. Themes are added to the satiator-rings/themes directory in separate folders.
  • Everything after the splash screen is now loaded from the SD card. Make sure you download the pack below to get the correct files!
  • Another huge speed improvement, this time for for menu transitions due to everything being loaded from SD.
Fixed:
  • Launch Satiator Menu option became broken so had to be rewritten with a different method. It's not 100% reliable but it works.
  • Loading lists with no files available was showing the selection sprite.


Download the zip file below and extract the contents to the root of your SD card. The config tool can be used afterwards to add images to your folders.
